Description

The GMC2700 is a heavy-duty gantry machining center built with resin sand castings for superior rigidity and vibration damping. The X and Y axes employ imported linear guideways for high-speed precision motion, while the Z axis uses a hardened-and-ground sliding guide pair with plastic coating for excellent cutting stability. All three axes are driven by imported precision ballscrews, racks, and gearboxes, with stainless steel telescopic covers on X and plastic accordion covers on Y for effective chip and coolant protection. The standard spindle is belt-driven, with multiple optional head configurations including automatic five-face head, gear head, ZF reducer head, direct-drive head, and CTS (coolant-through-spindle) head to suit diverse machining needs. The headstock balancing is provided by a nitrogen balance system (optional), ensuring smooth vertical movement. The machine is equipped with a Taiwan-made pneumatic cylinder, and offers carousel-type, disc-type, or chain-type ATC options. Key components include imported bearings for leadscrews and famous-brand couplings. Standard features include work lamp, pilot lamp, USB/LAN interfaces, MPG, centralized automatic lubrication, cooling system, heat exchanger for electrical cabinet, leveling blocks, toolbox, and a double spiral chip conveyor.
